The best airsoft bb's are extra polished and always have a perfectly round shape. These highly polished bb's can therefore be used in precision barrels. When you use very cheap bb's, these are often not properly finished and they can block or damage your inner barrel. You can have a very nice replica with the most beautiful parts in it, but when you use unreliable bb's your replica will shoot unreliable and inaccurate.
Broforce Airsoft has therefore chosen to include only quality bb's in it's assortment. All brands of bb's in our range have been extensively tested and are recommended by airsoft replica manufacturers.
What weight of bb's do I need?
You have different weights of bb's you can choose from. Indoors often use .20g to max .25g bb's. Because you have virtually no negative external influences (such as wind) on your bb's indoors, it is not necessary and even superfluous to play with heavier bb's.
If you are going to play outside, it is important to shoot with heavier bb's. External influences can prevent light bb from flying nicely in a straight line. 0.25 g, .28g & even .30g bb's can be used outside. It is important that you are sure that your hopup unit can hop these heavier bb's and that your Joule output is sufficient to ensure that you do not lose too much range.
Tracer bb's are bb's that light up by themselves through a chemical reaction with light and leave a fluorescent light trail during shooting. This makes indoor your bb's easy to follow. To use these special bb's it is necessary to equip your airsoft replica with a tracer unit. These are also available at Broforce Airsoft.
